Summer-Glenwood is a small neighborhood located in Minneapolis, Minn. It is a nice suburban area that has plenty of parks nearby. It also has many churches in the vicinity, which strengthens the overall community of the neighborhood.
Within the neighborhood, Sumner Field is an open space that is perfect for various field sports. Harrison Park is a nice park that is located right outside of the neighborhood and is open for different activities. Many different sports — including football, baseball, and basketball — can be played at Harrison Park. For children, the park offers a playground and a wading pool. The park is also perfect for picnicking, walking, and biking.
Lovell Square Park is another park that is just outside of the neighborhood. This park has plenty of well-kept green areas, making it an area with great scenery. The park is great for relaxation, as it doesn’t have very many good places to play sports. It does have plenty of nice places to walk and picnic within the park. The playground is great for young children.
The Minneapolis Farmer’s market is right across the street from the neighborhood. It is a great place for residents of Summer-Glenwood to get fresh fruit and produce. Multiple vendors sell many different products ranging from fruit and vegetables to meat and flowers. In addition, numerous vendors sell various crafts that they have made. The farmer’s market is one of the best places to buy groceries, and it is a great shopping experience all around. The farmer’s market even has Christmas trees during the winter months.
