Crescent Park is located just north of the Beachline Expressway, to the east of Lake Conway, west of Lake Warren, and within only a couple of miles of the Orlando International Airport. The close proximity to the airport makes it a popular neighborhood for airline employees and their families. It is also provides a quick route to worldwide travel.

In the middle of Crescent Park is a large wetland that gives excellent character to the community. Wildlife is abundant throughout the wetland area, making it incredibly scenic for area residents. Many of the homes on the water even have docks that go out into the water for wildlife viewing and fishing. It is common for these residents to use the wetlands as a backdrop for house parties.

Off of Daetwyler Drive to the west is Warren Park. The park is a popular destination for families in the community to get together for a picnic or potluck. Although the park is somewhat small, it has several amenities that aren’t common to parks of this size. On the east side of the park are two tennis courts that are frequently in use by residents. In the middle of the park is a sand volleyball court, and throughout the park are trails for walking, running, and cycling. Many area fitness buffs take advantage of these trails, combining them with the miles of sidewalks that surround the area to add additional mileage and scenery to their exercise routine.

To the south, only a few miles on the same road, is one of the best parks for recreation in the area. Southport Community Park features ten different baseball/softball fields, two basketball courts, a large playground, and a large number of paths that are frequented by mothers with strollers, dog walkers, and even runners and cyclists.
