A popular pastime with residents is water skiing on Lake Pearl. On weekends, you’ll see many Watermill parents cheering for their children at the Econ Soccer Complex at 2451 North Dean Road. The complex is part of the 135-acre Jay Blanchard Park, which features a four-mile bike path that parallels the Little Econ River. There, you’ll notice many Watermill residents biking, jogging, power walking, and in-line skating. Other amenities include basketball courts, tennis courts, softball fields, sand volleyball courts, a playground, spacious green open areas, and picnic tables.

Excellent schools are an appealing aspect of Watermill, which is zoned for Lakemont Elementary, Maitland Middle School, and Winter Park High School. One of Florida’s best high schools, Winter Park has an award-winning athletics program and offers a variety of programs such as Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, College Duel Enrollment, Academy of Information Technology, and the Academy of Construction Trades Youth Apprenticeship Program.
