The Adams neighborhood of Seattle is one of the most convenient places to live in the city. It is located on the waterfront of Salmon Bay and is in the downtown core of the city, which means it is close to shopping, entertainment, and leisure. There are two schools in the neighborhood as well as Ballard Playground. The children do not have to leave the area in order to have fun with their friends.

Music is the scene at the taverns in the neighborhood where the atmosphere is very laid back. The area around the playground is also filled with coffee shops, restaurants, and take-outs. It is easy for residents to take a stroll to one of these locations to meet up with their friends. The Majestic Bay Theatre is the venue where all can see the latest releases on the big screen.

Just outside the Adams neighborhood there are several city parks. The tall trees provide shade for the picnic tables underneath where it is customary for families to have picnics and get-togethers on the weekends during the summer months. There is a large playground complete with a sandbox where the children can wile away many happy hours and the adults can bask in the beauty of nature.

West Woodland Park is a day park not too far from Adams where all will enjoy an outdoor adventure theme. All the equipment was designed with imaginative children in mind with shelters that they can climb in and out of, a climbing jungle for older children and a basketball hoop. There is something for everyone in this park to keep them active. The park is also adjacent to the Woodland Zoo, another feature that adds to the attractiveness of the Adams neighborhood.
