Seattle at a Glance
Mt. Baker Neighborhood
Mt. Baker is one of the most well-known Seattle neighborhoods. The homes in this area are some of the most upscale in Seattle and provide refuge for the Seattle elite after a hard day of work. Home to numerous business giants, doctors, lawyers, and other highly educated professionals, Mt. Baker is definitely one of the more upscale communities in the region.
Overlooking Lake Washington, Mt. Baker isn’t short on aesthetics. In fact, the neighborhood received its name solely for the view it provides. Looking over Lake Washington, it is possible to see Mt. Baker in the distance. This iconic mountain is beloved by area locals and creates the perfect backdrop for photos, especially from a boat on Lake Washington.
Recreation is one major reason to be in Mt. Baker. Opportunities to get out and enjoy the area seem to surround the Mt. Baker neighborhood. Mt. Baker Park is one of the most popular destinations for area locals looking to enjoy Lake Washington. From this pubic park, it is possible to launch a boat to enjoy recreation on the lake, go swimming in the designated swimming area, or even go fishing off of the long dock. Also located in the park is a children’s playground that is situated off of the waterfront for the safety of the children. Near the playground are two tennis courts and a volleyball net as well.
Those interested in a little physical activity are likely to find it off of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, where one of the nicest athletic facilities is located. The facility features a standard football field used by the area high school and a large lined track. Many area runners and walkers alike take advantage of the track when teams aren’t training on it. When training, many walkers, runners and cyclists take to the streets in this relatively low-traffic community to get their exercise.

About Our Deals
Apartment Finder utilizes the industry's largest and most complete database of real-time rents and availabilities to help you find an amazing deal on your next rental.
Price Drop
Apartment communities change their rental rates often - sometimes multiple times a day. We track the changes and keep you up to date when a rental rate decreases.
Best Value
"Best value" units are located in buildings rated three stars or higher. We label apartment rentals that are priced significantly less than similar high-quality units nearby.
Rent Specials
Apartment communities regularly advertise deals for new residents. Whether it's a move-in special or a free tv, we locate the rentals that offer a little something extra when you sign your lease.
