Village of Tampa is a large manufactured home community located south of Bearss Avenue, north of Fletcher Avenue, west of Bruce B. Downs, and just east of Nebraska Avenue. The community is also close to Interstate-275, which is less than one mile to the west. Located between some of the largest roadways in the area, Village of Tampa is in an excellent location for quick travel throughout the region.
One of the most popular destinations for area residents is located just off of Nebraska Avenue, outside of the community. Grand Prix of Tampa is a popular interstate amusement attraction that is also a favorite destination of area residents. Grand Prix features a large putt-putt golf course and go-kart course. Both are favorites of area youth.
Another popular area attraction is Busch Gardens. This massive thrill park is located to the south, off of Busch Boulevard, and is frequented by area residents and tourists from throughout the country. Busch Gardens is part roller coaster park and part zoo. By placing exotic animals throughout the thrill park, Busch Gardens creates a truly unique experience that is fun for all ages. The park also has one of the largest play areas for children in Tampa, with rides that are made just for small children. Annual passes are common for residents and typically the park is visited regularly throughout the year.
One of the biggest draws in the immediate area of Villages of Tampa is the University of South Florida. This incredible university is one of the largest in the state of Florida and draws in thousands of students from in and outside of the Tampa region. The area has a great deal of pride for the school’s athletic teams, even though the program is relatively new. It is common to see signs cheering on the USF Bulls throughout the area.
