Oak Trail is a neighborhood in Egypt Lake-Leto, Florida. The major roads surrounding the neighborhood include Himes Avenue to the west, Kirby Street to the south, St. Vincent Street on the east, and Sitka Street on the north.
To the south of Oak Trail is the area’s biggest hospital. University Community Hospital of Carrollwood is located just about a mile away from Oak Trail off of Dale Mabry Highway and provides many of the major services for area residents. For more extensive procedures many residents go to Tampa General Hospital which is located in South Tampa and is the largest hospital in the region.
Just north of University Community Hospital off of Dale Mabry Highway is Q-Zar Laser Tag. This popular entertainment destination is known for their large laser tag area where participants wear vests with sensors and try to avoid being shot by their opponent’s laser gun. This destination is popular with area youth and hosts many birthday parties. Q-Zar is a game that can be played by different age groups and can be fun for the entire family.
Less than four miles away to the south is a major sports center of the Tampa area. Raymond James Stadium, which is the home of the professional football team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and the college football team the University of South Florida Bulls, is located just off of Dale Mabry Highway. These two popular area teams bring in thousands of fans throughout the season on game days to show their support. Raymond James is also host to many events and concerts throughout the year.
Directly across from Raymond James Stadium on Dale Mabry Highway is George M Steinbrenner Field. This is the spring training home of the professional baseball team, the New York Yankees.
