Twin Lakes Lakefront is a residential neighborhood in Egypt Lake-Leto, Florida. The neighborhood is a condo community that surrounds a small scenic pond. The roads that frame the neighborhood include Humphrey Street to the north, Waters Avenue to the south, Habana Avenue to the west, and Armenia Avenue to the east.
Twin Lakes is well known for the numerous area schools and contains three schools within one block, including Twin Lakes Elementary School, Camini Exceptional Student Education, and North Tampa Alternative.
South of Twin Lakes Elementary is Oak grove United Methodist Church. This popular area church is known for being an accepting congregation that is acknowledged for working within the immediate and surrounding community.
For area recreation, less than a mile to the north off of Orange Grove Drive and northwest of Little Twin Lake is Habana Park. This park has six well-maintained baseball fields that are used for youth baseball and softball leagues. They are also popular for pickup games by neighborhood kids. The park also has two tennis courts and a basketball court that are in regular use throughout the year.
One of the area’s best hidden secrets is located off of Armenia Avenue just before North Albany Avenue. Cally’s Sticky Bones Bar-B-Q is a tiny award-winning barbeque restaurant with some of the best food in the entire region. There is also a special little Spanish restaurant located directly next to Cally’s that is a wonderful surprise for the adventurous.
