Progress Boulevard bisects the neighborhood and gives quick access to I-75 and the retail area just east of the interstate. There are a number of restaurants, taverns, supermarkets, and stores such as Super Target here. There is public transit available all along Progress Boulevard, also known as Bloomingdale Avenue. There is also a physicians surgery center in this area, all less than 10 minutes from Progress Village CDC.
The University of Tampa and the many attractions of the Channel District are less than 20 minutes away, making this suburban neighborhood quite convenient to all of Tampa’s attractions and facilities.
