Stratford Court is a tiny neighborhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood only consists of a single road, Stratford Court. Major roadways in the area include Interstate 440 to the north and Lassiter Mill Road to the east.

Shopping in the Stratford Court area can be done to the west off of Glenwood Avenue. This is where the Crabtree Valley Mall is located. The mall is easily the largest and the most popular mall in the area with well over 100 stores. Many of the stores in the mall are major national brands; however, there are several regional and local stores, as well. Some of the brands include Gap, Gymboree, The Apple Store, The Lego Store, Nine West, Men’s Warehouse, Best Buy, Aeropostale, Hollister, Abercrombie and Fitch, and Justice. The mall is also a popular dining destination with numerous popular restaurants such as PF Chang’s China Bistro and The Cheesecake Factory.

Located to the north of Stratford Court on the other side of Interstate 440 is a smaller shopping area. This shopping area is home to a large Target store and the area’s most popular movie theater, Regal Cinemas North Hills Stadium 14. This movie theater provides showings of many of the most recent releases and is a favorite hangout spot for area teenagers.

South of Stratford Court off of Glenwood Avenue is the Carolina Country Club. This massive club provides some of the best golfing in the area, as well as one of the best tennis programs in Raleigh. The golf course is popular with golfers of all skill levels and even has a pro shop. The tennis program has numerous courts that are used for training classes, league play, and of course, tournaments. The club also has a large lap swimming pool that is used for water aerobics and swimming lessons, along with a well-equipped fitness center.
