The area known as Northwest Raleigh is expansive and diverse. This area has quickly grown and is home to prominent and established neighborhoods as well as newly built subdivisions. By far, the largest and most visited park in Northwest Raleigh is William B. Umstead State Park. It offers a place to escape the city lights, sounds, and stresses. Relax in this serene and tranquil environment. Fishing, hiking, horseback riding, and picnicking are all popular activities here.
