Ridgeloch Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The Ridgeloch subdivision is located at the southwestern intersection of Lead Mine and Millbrook Road. This neighborhood, filled with cul-de-sacs, occupies a great deal of the surrounding area. The community is divided into two sections. The northern part consists of Groomsbridge Court while the southern portion includes Old Towne Road, Belsay Drive, Thaxton Place, and Chillham Place.
Dwellings in the Ridgeloch community are unique and well-established. Many homes are ranch-style constructed of wood, vinyl siding, and brick. Natural and decorative trees complement the sprawling, manicured lawns.
Adjacent to the area is Shelley Lake Park. This multi-purpose, family-oriented park has much to offer. Shelley Lake is not only a walking park with an excellent greenway, but a large lake where you can feed the ducks. At Shelley there is also an amusement park, offering kiddie boats, a train, and a carousel. For adults, the park holds several concerts a year. Brookhaven Nature Park is also close for bird watchers and hikers.
Just around the corner is the Elks Lodge. The Protective Order of Elks is a benevolent society committed to youth, an active military, and veterans. This organization holds a bingo game every Monday night.
Less than a mile away, the North Carolina Elite nightclub is a popular entertainment spot. The Williams Park Community Center in the area provides a rentable community meeting place.
The community Optimist Pool offers a large diving board with a 12-foot deep diving area.
Ridgeloch is located near Highways 50 and 70, the Cliff Benson Raleigh Beltline, and Interstate 440.
