The Millstream neighborhood is known for having beautiful scenery. Located near Dewey Hills Park and Rothgeb Park to the east, the neighborhood features some of the most fantastic forested areas in Raleigh. Directly in Millstream are numerous schools. These schools provide much of the education for area students. St. David’s School and Root Elementary School are both located off of Lassiter Mill Road.

South of Millstream, off of Glenwood Avenue, is the Carolina Country Club. This is the largest club in the area, and it offers the largest course as well. The course draws in visitors from throughout the surrounding area, providing a well-maintained playing surface for all skill levels. The club also has numerous tennis courts, a lap swimming pool, and a fitness center.

To the northwest of Millstream, about two miles away, is the Crabtree Valley Mall. This mall is popular with area residents providing over 100 major brand new shops, meeting the needs of a wide variety of shoppers. Some of the biggest stores in the area include The Lego Store, Macy’s, Hollister, and the Apple Store. There are also numerous popular restaurants in the area.
