Hamlin is a small neighborhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood is located to the south of Interstate 440 off of Lakestone Drive.

West of the neighborhood is the largest shopping center in the immediate area. The Crabtree Valley Mall is hugely popular with area residents and is regularly busy. The mall features well over 100 of the biggest name brand stores along with many regional and local stores, as well. The country club is home to one of the largest golf courses, making it a major hit with golfers. The course is challenging and yet exciting for players of all experience levels. The course also has a professional shop that is staffed with golf pros able to assist with tips and tricks about the course, as well as provide information about the game of golf. The country club also has numerous tennis courts and offers a sizable tennis program. This club features regular lessons, leagues, and even tournaments throughout the year. There is also a good-sized fitness club, and a lap swimming pool which is used for water aerobics and swim lessons.

It is also good to note that to the south of the community a few miles is North Carolina State University, one of the US’s major universities and the pride of the area.
