Shopping, dining, and entertainment is nearby in several locations. Several shopping areas including Brennan Station are located south of I-540 on Creedmore Road. Southeast of Crossmoor is Six Forks Station Shopping Center.

Nearby schools include Pleasant Union Elementary, Magellan Charter and Leesville Road High. North Carolina State University is in Downtown Raleigh and Duke University is in Durham.
