A majority of homes in the Chandler Pointe neighborhood were built between 1980 and 2000, although some construction dates to the 1930s. The luxurious two-story residences are situated on spacious lots, and most were built several hundred feet from the edges of the subdivision’s main roads.

Despite its large residences, this family-friendly neighborhood lacks sidewalks, making outdoor activities such as walking, biking, and jogging difficult without utilizing the roadways that wind through the community. However, residents of Chandler Pointe can take a short drive to nearby William B. Umstead State Park, which features opportunities for boating, camping, hiking, cycling, fishing, and picnicking throughout its 5,579 acres of parkland.

History buffs can experience the myriad of displays and exhibits at the nearby North Carolina Museum of History. Those intrigued by the art and science aspects of Raleigh will enjoy the North Carolina Museum of Art and the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in the city’s bustling downtown districts.

Chandler Pointe is located less than five miles to the north of Interstate 540, offering residents a quick and easy commute to downtown Raleigh, which is a 30-minute drive to the south. They also enjoy easy access to Research Triangle Park and neighboring cities such as Cary, Durham, and Chapel Hill.
