The Bluffs at Harrington Grove neighborhood is located south of Carpenter Pond Road and east of Olive Branch Road and Leesville Road in Raliegh. The neighborhood is comprised of residences lining Timbercroft Court and Crossfield Drive, as well as part of New Leesville Boulevard. Surrounding Raleigh communities encircling the neighborhood include the Woods at Harrington Grove, Glen at Harrington Grove, Vale at Harrington Grove, Leesville Forest, Estates of Harrington Grove, and Laurdane Estates. Downtown Durham and its commercial hub are jut northwest of the community.
Popular local commuting corridor Interstate 540 runs just south of the Bluffs community. The local travel artery Glenwood Avenue intersects Interstate 540, also to the south and southwest of the neighborhood. Raleigh-Durham International Airport is mere minutes from the neighborhood’s southwest perimeter, providing convenient access for business and leisure travelers living in the community.
The closest shopping is found at Alexander Place, southwest of the community. Lake Crabtree Park, Lake Crabtree, and the mammoth William B. Umstead State Park are all nestled to the south of Interstate 540, below the Bluffs. The popular Falls Lake recreational area and its surrounding parks lie to the northeast of the Bluffs at Harrington Grove neighborhood. The closest golf course to the Bluffs neighborhood is found at Brier Creek County Club. The Club is found to the southwest of the community, on the opposite side of Glenwood Avenue near where Interstates 40 and 540 intersect.
The subdivision’s homes were constructed in 1989. The established Raleigh community situated off Leesville Road boasts of a quick and painless commute to the Research Triangle Park, Airport, and the overall Triangle area by way of Interstate 540.
