Belmont Hall Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
The community of Belmont Hall is located just outside Raleigh and sits just off Buffaloe Road. A few miles down this street is the Buffaloe Road Athletic Park, which has several fields for playing baseball and softball, as well as one of the best-maintained playgrounds in the area. The park has two playgrounds, one suitable for ages two and older, and a second one for school-aged children. The children’s play area is shaded and is a fair distance from the road. It contains a small sand play area, as well as slides, swings, and a crawling tunnel.
If learning a new skill while spending time with a child or family member is something that might interest residents, a trip to nearby Cary to attend a cooking camp at Classy Kids Cook is in order. Conducted in a full-service culinary school, these classes teach children age 6 to 17 and their parents. Students learn the importance of healthy food preparation and decision making. The curriculum also reinforces lessons learned in science, math, and other school subjects, plus etiquette. Classes are offered year round, full or half days, and as a camp during the summer. Birthday cooking parties are also available.
Belmont Hall shoppers will enjoy visiting the Raleigh Farmer’s Market, also known as the State Farmers Market since it is owned and operated by the state of North Carolina. One of only five such markets in the state, it covers more than 70 acres, with selling space for more than 35,000 vendors in a climate-controlled building. Some of the items featured include fruits and vegetables that have been grown by local farmers, plants, trees, and arts and crafts.
