The Bagwell neighborhood lies in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood sits just west of downtown, and just north of North Carolina State University. This community is bounded by Clark Avenue and Everett Avenue on the north, Hillsborough Street/State Highway 54 on the south, Daisy Street on the west, and Bagwell Avenue on the east. The Dixie Trail traverses the middle of the neighborhood from north to south. This neighborhood has approximately 120 residents and covers about .035 square miles. Another museum, The North Carolina Museum of Art, is situated within a few miles northwest of Bagwell, just north of Meredith College. This popular area art museum offers both permanent and traveling exhibitions. Currently, visitors can take a gander at the work of American artist Normal Rockwell. The museum also features a garden that is both functional and a work of art. Sculptures can be see here, scattered about the many picnickers, joggers, and cyclists.
