The park offers ball fields, as well as colorful play areas and picnic facilities. The walking path here leads to the Ortega Stream Valley Canoe launch.

Residents of Ortega Hills utilize the nearby St. Johns River for recreational activities such as fishing, boating, water sports, swimming and beaches.
