Springfield Neighborhood

The Springfield neighborhood is on the far northwest side of Pensacola, Florida, just west of U.S. Highway 90/Mobile Highway. The boundaries of this community are roughly created by State Highway 173/North Blue Angel Parkway on the north and west, and Godwin Lane on the south. Springfield is just over 10 miles from the central downtown area, approximately 20 minutes by car. The zipcode for this Escambia County community is 32526.

This subdivision is predominately residential, although a few commercial offerings can be found within its boundaries. The residential options include several hundred single-family homes and townhomes. Most of the homes and lots here are small. Some shade trees can be found in the interior of the neighborhood, but much of the surrounding area is heavily wooded.

Residents of Springfield are just a short drive from many city conveniences, including nearby Pensacola Regional Airport. The adjacent highways host shopping, dining and entertainment options close to home, including the Bellview Shopping Center. This small retail center is dominated by two grocery stores, but also offers several specialty shops and eateries. The many attractions and amenities of the downtown area are just a short drive from Springfield, including larger shopping centers such as the Cordova Mall.

Many outdoor attractions can also be found within a few miles of this community. Perdido Bay is accessible about three miles to the southwest, and popular for boating, fishing, and other water sports. Several small parks are nearby, along with public and private golf courses, including the Marcus Pointe Golf Club, Green Meadows Par 3 Golf Course, and Osceola Municipal Golf Course.
