Woods of Deerfield, San Antonio Apartments for Rent

North of downtown San Antonio and just south of the 1604 Freeway is the gated neighborhood of Woods of Deerfield. It is a relatively small and private neighborhood of tree-lined streets and larger-style homes. Home listings in this area range from around $300K to around $400K. There are several public schools and one Lutheran School in the area. Also nearby is the innovative Primrose School-Huebner Village.

As for places to eat, there are lots of great choices such as Brasserie Pavil, Roaring Fork, and Chins Garden. The most famous attraction is San Antonio is the Alamo, located to the east of the San Antonio River in the downtown area. The restored Alamo Church is all that remains of the original mission fortress where heroes such as David Crockett, James Bowie, and William Travis fell defending the fledgling Texas Republic from the Mexican Army. For family fun, residents enjoy Six Flags Fiesta Texas Theme Park, the San Antonio Zoo, and the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch.
