Riverbend of Camino Real is an upscale neighborhood in north central San Antonio. It is located near Bluffview at Camino Real and the Woodlands of Camino Real. Old Bitters Road, a curving and winding road, serves as both the northern and western boundaries of the community. River Park serves as the eastern and southern borders of the neighborhood, with the southernmost tip of Riverbend of Camino Real resting at the end of West River Glen Drive.

Some of the homes in the neighborhood have been built with a view of one of the fairways on the Siverhorn Golf Club. The heavily wooded area has a mixture of different styles of homes, including contemporary residences and others that are not of any discernible architectural style. Some of these residences are single-story homes, while others are two-story structures. Most were built in the 1980s and 1990s. They tend to have about 2,500 square feet of space.

Residents who are discriminating food lovers will delight in the fact that the Tost Bistro Bar is only a short distance away. Chef Jean-Francois Poujol reinvented this restaurant that was once serving Asian fusion. It is now serving New American cuisine and features such unusual dishes as truffled asparagus with poached egg, mussels with chorizo, pork belly and parsnip puree, beer-braised short ribs, and seared rack of lamb. The restaurant has a bar and also features entertainment.

Riverbend of Camino Real residents who are dog owners enjoy the 311-acre Phil Hardberger Park, which is a short distance from the neighborhood. The park contains a 1.8-acre dog park with sections for large and small dogs. It also has a 1.5-mile multi-use trail and a 1.7-mile trail at the Salado Creek Greenway. One area has been classified as a natural area, so bikers and hikers must stay on the trails, with no pets permitted. The park also has picnic facilities and a playground.
