Located just off of Interstate Highway 410, Marymont is a mostly commercial development with small residential pockets tucked within a cluster of forest. Marymont is also quite close to local mainstays like Los Patios, a local dining and shopping destination, and Northeast Baptist Hospital.

Houses within the residential space offer a variety of construction styles that include Spanish eclectic, prairie, and bungalow. There are a couple of apartment complexes in the area, including Enclave Apartments and Heather Condominiums.

Feeder Trail makes up the western boundary of Marymont, which is located in the 78217 zip code. Feeder is a hiking and biking trail that offers residents access to Marymont’s surrounding neighborhoods. The neighborhood’s eastern border is Perrin Beitel Road, also called Farm to Market Road 2252. Interstate Highway 410 (Loop 410) forms Marymont’s southern boundary. To the north, Marymont has no discernible border, though it generally follows the neighboring Sun Gate Street parallel.

Because this neighborhood is close to a major highway, it is not very friendly to pedestrians or cyclists. The Feeder Trail is the area’s best option for nondrivers. Most of the area’s commercial development is located near the intersection of the Highway and Perrin Beitel Road. A handful of hotels and restaurants can be found here, including the Hill Country Inn and Suites, Chacho’s, Chalucci’s, and Quiznos.

The local St. Mary’s Hall is a prestigious private college preparatory school that caters to students of all ages. Just outside of the Marymont boundaries lies Ladybird Jonson Park, located to the north of St. Mary’s Hall. This park has sports fields for baseball, football, and soccer. The park also offers access to the Feeder Trail.
