Huntleigh is a relatively small neighborhood on the east side of San Antonio, Texas, just a short drive from Fort Sam Houston and less than 20 minutes from the downtown area. This community is south of Interstate 10/U.S. Highway 90 and east of Interstate 410, immediately south of FM 1346. Its boundaries extend roughly to Saints Arc Drive on the east and well past Saints Retreat on the west. This community is part of Bexar County, in the 78220 zip code.

Residents of this community enjoy access to the nearby interstates and highways, but not a great deal else can be found in this mostly undeveloped area of San Antonio. Fortunately, there are still enough shopping and dining options in the area to meet residents’ needs.

Several parks are located within a short drive of this community, including Copernicus Park, Lakeside Park, and Martin Luther King Park. King Park is the largest of the three, offering plenty of undeveloped green space for hiking and exploring. This popular park also offers volleyball and tennis courts, picnic facilities, a basketball court, softball field, outdoor swimming pool, playground, and short hard-surface trail. There is also a small stream for fishing.

Golfers living in Huntleigh may frequent the Willow Springs Golf Course, a popular public course situated a few miles to the west.
