(hide neighborhood information)

Welcome to Encino Creek, a small neighborhood on the north side of San Antonio, Texas. This community is located south of Evans Road and east of U.S. Highway 281, immediately southeast of Caliza Drive. It is part of Bexar County, in the 78259 zip code area.

This community consists of just three streets—Bubbling Creek, Mineral Creek, and Falling Creek. There is no through traffic in this peaceful neighborhood. Area communities include Encino Rio, Encino Bluff, and The Terraces at Encino Creek.

For local shopping and dining, residents of Encino Creek don’t have to travel far. The Village at Stone Oak shopping center is located just minutes to the northwest along U.S. Highway 281. This large outdoor retail space hosts a Target and several other big-name retailers and popular eateries. This community is also just a short drive from several major medical centers, including North Central Baptist Hospital and Methodist Stone Oak Hospital.

For outdoor recreation, there are numerous community parks within a few miles of Encino Creek, including Stone Oak Park, Panther Spring Park, and Gold Canyon Park. McAllister Park, one of the most popular parks in the city, is just a short drive south of here, as well. Golfers living in this community can choose between the nearby Canyon Springs Golf Club and the Club at Sonterra Golf Course.

Schools near this community include Roan Forest Elementary, Frank Tejeda Middle, and Claudia Taylor Johnson High.

For those who are looking for an attractive, quiet community that is close to many city conveniences and good schools, Encino Creek may be an ideal choice in northern San Antonio.
