The main through street in the community is Nacogdoches Road, offering plenty of dining options, as well as shopping, antiques, gyms, hotels, banks, and nightlife.

This park allows people of all ages and abilities to have fun in a safe and friendly environment. Although the park is designed for those with special needs, three out of four visitors to the park do not have special needs. Some of the park attractions that can be found here include The Sensory Village, Butterfly Playground, Wonderland Express & Depot, Off Road Adventure Ride, the Carousel, and the Music Garden, just to name a few.

Downtown San Antonio and the surrounding areas, offer residents tons of attractions, such as the Alamo, the River Walk, Tower of the Americas, the San Antonio Zoo, and the San Antonio Botanical Garden. El Dorado Lake is a popular lake in the area for fishing. Chuck Klein Park is a fantastic park in the area to get out and have a picnic or play some ball.
