Eden Roc Apartments for Rent

Sporting street names like Misty Glade Drive and Shady Tree Lane, the Eden Roc neighborhood in northeastern San Antonio reminds residents that they are not far away from the great outdoors. West of the densely populated, but compact community are rolling hills with their own groves of hardwood trees. To the east is the 11-acre Friesenhahn Park with its nature trails and pond. McClain Park, a bit farther east, offers an 18-hole disc golf course. Disc golf is played with saucer like discs that are thrown at baskets hung from trees and other objects.

Most of the homes in Eden Roc were built between 1970 and 1994 and are single family homes. There are a considerable number of apartments, both high and low rise. Streets are curved, tree-lined, pedestrian-friendly and most end in cul-de-sacs, minimizing traffic. VIA Metropolitan Transit offers frequent bus service along Knoll Creek Drive, one block south of Eden Roc.

The closest schools are Longs Creek Elementary, Driscoll Middle, and Madison Senior High to the south. St Edwards Confessor Holy Church, Madison Hills Baptist, and New Vision Community Church are also to the south. San Antonio International Airport is about five miles to the southwest, next to the 984 acre McAlister Park, which offers an off-leash dog area.

E-Z Mart is a local grocery store on Knoll Creek Drive, one block from Eden Roc. The restaurants and shops of Thousand Oaks Mall are less than two miles west. Anchor stores include CVS Pharmacy and Bealls Department Store. The Little Gym of Northeast San Antonio is also part of the mall and offers the closest work-out facilities.
