Adams Hill is an affordable neighborhood located about 25 minutes west of downtown San Antonio on the US 90 Highway. Northwest Loop 410, US 90 and the Charles W Anderson Loop 1604 provide easy access to the area.

One of San Antonio’s most popular attractions, Seaworld, is a short 15 minute drive away. Since this marine mammal park and oceanarium is a huge draw, most well-known hotel chains have properties that provide affordable accommodation in the area, such as La Quinta, Holiday Inn or Best Western.

Adams Hill is served by the Northside Independent School District. There is an elementary school in the area, Adams Hill Elementary. Further education can be sought at St. Mary’s University, a renowned Catholic and Marianist liberal arts institution in the Southwest and the oldest of its kind in Texas. Its address is 1 Camino Santa Maria. The V. J. Keefe Memorial Stadium is located within the university campus.

The Nelson W. Wolff Municipal Stadium is located at 5757 West US Highway 90 and is the home of the San Antonio Missions minor league baseball team Double A- affiliate of the San Diego Padres. The O. P. Schnabel Park -9600 Bandera Road- is a twenty-minute drive from Adams Hill. The park offers ball fields, a basketball court, hiking and biking trails and YMCA buildings.

The Adams Hill neighborhood Patrol works closely with the San Antonio Police Department watching for criminal acts and suspicious activity making for a safer place to live with the help of volunteers.
