One of the top-10 zoos in the country is the Oklahoma City Zoo. It consists of more than 100 acres and is also the oldest in the Southwest. The Oklahoma City Memorial, which is a tribute to both the victims and the survivors of the April 19, 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, is downtown.

The Yellow Rose Dinner Theatre is an original production theater that features local talent. Diners can watch comedy, listen to live music, or experience an original comedy or drama.

As of October 2009, Oklahoma City rated sixth out of 2,000 cities as far as job growth and employment rates. The Oklahoma City Civic Center Music Hall is the place to go to see Broadway shows, comedy, and concerts. It is also the home of the Oklahoma City Philharmonic.
