This primarily residential neighborhood is situated just east of Lake Hefner Parkway/Highway 3/Highway 74, and north of the Northwest Expressway. The Highland Hills neighborhood is conveniently located to a variety of area amenities. Just south of the community, on the other side of the expressway, are two of the area’s more prominent health care centers – Integris Health System and Deaconess Hospital. The surrounding parkland, which includes Lakeshore Park, Stars and Stripes Park, and Lake Hefner Park, offers playing fields, picnic areas, and playgrounds. Joggers, bikers, and dog walkers also make use of the more than nine miles of trails that surround this large lake.
