The community center includes a gymnasium, classroom, fitness room, computer lab, and art room.
The Carolina Country Club is only eight miles from Wyckford. The club celebrated its Centennial Anniversary in 2010. Seven miles to the southwest of Wyckford is the North Carolina Museum of History. The museum originated after Raleigh native Frederick Augustus Olds began collecting artifacts of North Carolina. His collection was combined with the original State Museum’s collection in 1902 to form the “Hall of History,” a display of thirty-seven artifact cases. Today the museum has several exhibits as well as galleries with activities just for kids. The museum is free to the public.
