There are also numerous restaurants that are popular with area diners.

Area golfers need only drive to the south of Williamsborough to get to the Carolina Country Club. This large area country club has one of the largest golf courses around. The club also has numerous tennis courts, a lap swimming pool, and a fitness center. The club provides lessons and hosts various tournaments.

Other popular area destinations include the Duke Regional Hospital, which is off of Wake Forest Road. This hospital is one of the largest in the area and serves Williamsborough residents.
