Valley Lake at Greystone Apartments for Rent

Valley Lake at Greystone is a small community in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood is made up of only a few roads: Valley Lake Drive, Lookout Point Court, and Spiny Ridge Court. Homes here have character with stunning brick exteriors and well-maintained landscaping. Most of these homes were built in the 1980s, but there are some older homes as well.

The area itself is quite family friendly with a number of community features. Light traffic along the roads make them perfect for walks with the dogs, a good run or even a little cycling. There are also several schools including the Montessori School of Raleigh and Lynn Road Elementary School, as well as churches representing a number of denominations.

For culture, many residents head over to the North Raleigh Arts and Creative Theatre off of Lead Mine Road. The theater here puts on a number of theatrical performances throughout the year. There are also a number of restaurants surrounding the theater, making it a perfect option for dinner and show. Other cultural options can be found in the area surrounding North Carolina State University several miles to the south.

Recreation is also quite popular in Valley Lake, with two great parks located only 1-2 miles away. The first is the park at Shelly Lake to the south, a good place to go fishing or kayaking. The lake also has an excellent trail, Greenway Trail that goes several miles throughout the community. The other park, Lynn Lake Park is much larger, located to the west. Here there are more amenities such as a baseball field and tennis courts. The park also has a trail with a large bridge that crosses over Lynn Lake providing great views.
