There are many sites in the area that are appealing, like the NC State Capitol built in 1913. The North Carolina State University Bell Tower is close as well. This native monument is a memorial to NCSU alumni who fought in World War I.

Public education and private learning opportunities abound around this district. Several elementary and high schools are in the immediate vicinity, as well as many preschools and private educational centers.

Located outside the Interstate 440 Raleigh Beltline, but inside the Interstate 540 Outer Loop, the Temple Street community is advantageous. This neighborhood is desirable for location, privacy, and local amenities.
