Taylors Creek at the Neuse Apartments for Rent

The Taylors Creek at the Neuse neighborhood is located to the east of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. It is a small, V-shaped neighborhood with the tip of the “V” pointing to the northeast. Four cul-de-sacs protrude from the legs of the “V”. Taylors Creek (the creek) is just across an access road to the east from the neighborhood. The homes here are contemporary and mostly medium-sized colonial-type structures with the occasional larger or smaller home. U.S. Route 264 is not far to the south and Interstate 540 is to the east.

The most notable public school that services the Taylors Creek at the Neuse area is to the east toward downtown Raleigh – the 5-star rated Enloe High School. A “magnet” school, Enloe was named the top magnet school in the nation in 2000, and more recently was named by Newsweek Magazine as being ranked 47 of the top 100 high schools in the nation.

El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant and Virgil’s Jamaica are among the most popular places to eat in the area. Virgil’s Jamaica is a take-out and catering service only establishment and is rapidly gaining in popularity for its unique Caribbean fare.

Raleigh has many spectator sports opportunities as well as those for participatory sports such as golfing and fishing.

The Five County Stadium is the home of the Carolina Mudcats, a minor league affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. The RBC Arena in downtown Raleigh plays host to the NHL Carolina Hurricanes and the NCAA North Carolina State men’s basketball team. Carter-Finley Stadium, on the campus of North Carolina State University is the home of NC State University NCAA football.
