Radcliffe Apartments for Rent(hide neighborhood information)
Radcliffe is located in northwestern Raleigh, in the area known as Barton’s Creek. Most of the residences in the area are single family homes; however, there are some townhouses and apartments in and immediately around the neighborhoods as well. A personal vehicle is the most common means of getting around, although the outlying community is well served by public transit.
There are several public parks near Radcliffe, including Blue Jay Point County Park, which offers more than 200 acres of natural wooded beauty. The park contains 5 miles of trails for walking or hiking, or visitors may wish to enjoy the acres of open green space with a book, a game of Frisbee or their favorite pet. Dogs may visit the park, so long as they remain on a leash in all areas except the public green areas.
For those wishing for more entertainment outdoors, a visit to Pullen Park, situated within 10 miles of the neighborhood, provides a number of carnival style rides for parents and children at reasonable fees, including an old-fashioned carousel and a train.
Residents in search of a unique dining experience might want to stop in at Crazyfire Mongolian Grill, where they will have the opportunity to cook dinner without actually having to cook dinner! The restaurant allows and encourages patrons to select their own meals from a buffet of various meats, vegetables, spices and sauces, which chefs grill in front of the guest and then serve hot and fresh. There are also options for non-meat eaters. The restaurant also offers Japanese foods prepared on a hibachi, sushi and a full bar that includes both hot and cold sake.
