The neighborhood of Pinewoods is located due south of downtown Raleigh, North Carolina. The roads that make up this neighborhood are short and end up in cul-de-sacs. The Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion is located in a rustic setting on a 77-acre complex on the western bank of Walnut Creek and is a unique place to see a concert. The pavilion can accommodate around 7,000 people while lawn seating capacity is almost 14,000. Big-name acts perform here during the season which begins in March.
