Pace Street Village Apartments for Rent

Pace Street Village is an urban neighborhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. It is located on Pace Street, which is off of North East Street in downtown Raleigh. While this is an urban neighborhood, it is residential and has plenty of trees and grassy areas. The lawns vary depending on the houses, and there are sidewalks in the neighborhood.

Several of the houses are very similar, but not all the homes on the street are the same age. There are some houses on the street from the 1890s, others from the 1920s, and some that are from the early 2000s. It is strictly a residential area.

Pace Street Village is adjacent to Historic Oakwood in downtown Raleigh. It has easy access to the historic downtown area. North Persons Street is an easy walk from Pace Street and has a wide variety of commercial enterprises, including a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop.

The Burning Coal Theatre is located within an easy walk of Pace Street. They have been producing professional plays since 1997. The theater is located in the historic Murphey School on Polk Street. The legendary Tucker House is also on Polk Street. This Neo-Classical Revival Mansion has been restored and furnished as a rental venue.

Mordecai Historical Park is one of the real gems of Raleigh. It includes not only the Mordecai House, but also the birthplace of the 17th president of the U.S., President Andrew Johnson. There are several other historic buildings in this charming park.

Peace College is located just a few blocks away from Pace Street. It is a four-year liberal arts college for young women that has been in existence for 150 years in downtown Raleigh.
