Northwest Woods Apartments for Rent

(hide neighborhood information)

Northwest Woods sits in the northwest corner of Raleigh and includes the neighborhoods located along Lenoraway Dr, and Mavan Court. It sits just off of Pinecrest Road, and about halfway between Dunnaway Pond and Leesville Community Park. Homes in the neighborhoods tend to be of average size, generally 3 bedrooms with 2 baths, and range from the mid-$100s to the lower $200s. There are a large number of apartment complexes in and around the area, and many of them are pet friendly. Rents on a single bedroom apartment begin in the mid-$500s.

There are a variety of recreational and social opportunities for Northwest Woods residents, including membership at Springdale Club. The facility, located a few miles away from the neighborhoods, features 6 tennis courts and a pair of fully sanded beach volleyball courts, along with a swimming pool and pavilion. Membership is kept at a comfortable level to create a feeling that the members are a family, rather than just paying customers on a roster.

The outdoor enthusiast might enjoy a visit to Lake Crabtree County Park, just 5 miles away from the community. Situated alongside a 520 acre lake, the park offers walking and hiking trails, as well as a large expanse of open green space ideal for a pick up football game or Frisbee with the dog. The park also offers an abundance of picnic areas, and two separate areas for children: one for smaller children, the other for older ones. There are several mountain biking trails in and around the park for beginners and more skilled riders. Those who prefer to spend the day on the water can rent a range of boats at relatively affordable rate. However, motorboats are prohibited, so boaters must be prepared to paddle. Fishing and sailing lessons are taught at an additional rate.
