Situated alongside a 520 acre lake, the park offers walking and hiking trails, as well as a large expanse of open green space ideal for a pick up football game or Frisbee with the dog. There are several mountain biking trails in and around the park for beginners and more skilled riders. Those who prefer to spend the day on the water can rent a range of boats at relatively affordable rate. However, motorboats are prohibited, so boaters must be prepared to paddle. Fishing and sailing lessons are taught at an additional rate.
