The Lacrosse Pointe community is also very convenient to area shopping and dining options. Approximately a half-mile to the east is the North Ridge Center and another retail area. Fine dining options abound here, and there is also a food market, Rite Aid Pharmacy store, spa & salon, and several banks, among other options. Dining choices run the gamut from seafood, to BBQ, to French cuisine, to sushi, to Italian, and then some.

Downtown Raleigh is roughly a 20-minute drive to the south. Other significant attractions within 10 miles of Lacrosse Pointe include the Raleigh-Durham International Airport to the west, and North Carolina State University to the south.
