Hampton Hill Apartments for Rent

(hide neighborhood information)

Hampton Hill is an established, quiet neighborhood in a low traffic area. With hardwood trees, curving roads, valleys, and hills, this community is lovely. One- and two-story homes stand beneath trees, often flanked by decorative bushes. Many of the houses are unique.

Located between Ridge Road and Lake Boone Trail, Hampton Hill rests on the marginal edge of Raleigh’s work life, night life, and scholarly interest. Nearby are highways to make travel to any business easy, as well as police and fire emergency services convenient. In the area are schools, colleges, hospitals, museums, restaurants, theaters, nightclubs, and attractions.

Hampton Hill is central to several shopping areas, including Crabtree Valley Mall, North Hills Shopping Center, and the Shops of Cameron Village. The Carolina Country Club is adjacent to the area.

Nearby parks for leisure activities, walking, and running are Pullen Park and William B. Umstead State Park. Both parks are located within 3 miles of the Hampton Hill area. Pullen Park is a 72-acre park with family and night activities scheduled. Walking is permitted, but for the hard walker or runner, William B. Umstead State Park may be a better location.

Established schools within the area include colleges, private schools, Catholic schools, magnet schools, and public schools. The area is rich in educational options. Rex Hospital is nearby.

Guests of residents will enjoy visiting the NC Museum of Art, the Raleigh Municipal Rose Garden, Gallery C, or the JC Raulston Arboretum. There is a fantastic performance happening at the RBC Center or a sports game going on at NC State University or Meredith College most evenings.

Local restaurants are plentiful. In this area, you can find every type of eating establishment from vendor food to family-style to fine dining. Major chains and small business restaurant owners lace the Hampton Hill area.

The area is pleasant and friendly, while neighbors are vigilant and alert to outsiders driving through. This vicinity is an excellent place to live and an easy commute, with US 1, the 440 Beltline and highways 50 and 70 close.
