Greenview Bluffs is a subdivision located southwest of Downtown Raleigh in ZIP code 27606. With the suburbs of Cary on the north and Apex on the west, Greenview Bluffs is southeast of US-1/Knightsdale Bypass and southwest of I-40/US-64/Tom Bradshaw Freeway. Other major thoroughfares nearby are Ten-Ten Road to the south, Holly Springs Road to the west, Penny Road to the north, Tryon Road farther north, and US-401 to the east.
As the name suggests, Greenview Bluffs is situated above Lake Wheeler on a peninsula. Streets are Blaney Bluffs Lane, More View Court and Darcy Lane. The subdivision is entered from Penny Road and Blaney Franks Road via Blaney Bluffs Lane. Each lot is approximately two acres with lots of trees and landscaping. There are no sidewalks, but with care, this is a nice area to sight-see, walk, and ride bikes.
Nearby parks and nature areas include Lake Wheeler Park and Hemlock Bluffs State Natural Area to the north. The center includes a native wildflower garden, educational programs, and an exhibit hall. Lochmere Golf Club, 2511 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary, is north of Greenview Bluffs and a semi-private club.
