Nearby golf courses include the Falls Village Golf Course in Durham, which sits west of Falls Glen. South of the golf course is the Raleigh-Durham International Airport.

For dining and shopping, the Falls Pointe Shopping Center includes a Kohl’s Department Store and Harris Teeter supermarket. North of Falls Glen is the Wakefield Crossing Shopping Center, with merchants like Food Lion and Quizno’s.
