Dairyland is a small neighborhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood is made up of only a few streets including Thomas Road and Stillwater Road. Major roads around the neighborhood include Lake Boone Trail to the north, Ridge Road to the east, and Interstate 440 to the west.

Dairyland is a very quiet and secluded neighborhood with many children throughout the area. The large number of children is mostly due to the two large schools that are located close by. To the east is Lacy Elementary School and to the south is Martin Middle School. There is also a small preschool to the north, Ride Road Baptist Preschool. These schools are one of the reasons for a lot of children in the area and many families.

One of the most important schools in the area is located to the southeast a few miles away from the neighborhood. This is where North Carolina State University is located. This massive university provides much of the education throughout the area and brings in students from around the country and the world. The university provides undergraduate, graduate, professional, and certification programs that are an important part of the area growth and development. The school also has several sports teams, the pride of the area. These sports teams play at RBC Center and Carter Finely Stadium, located just a few miles away to the southwest of Dairyland.

For shopping in the area, the best destination is along Interstate 440 to Glenwood Avenue. This is where Crabtree Valley Mall is located. This mall is one of the largest and most popular in the area and has well over a hundred shops providing a huge assortment of goods and services. Most of the stores are major national brand names, but there are many regional and local brands at this mall, as well.
