Golfers can tee up at the Wildwood Green Golf Club. Located on Bally Bunion Way, the 18-hole course has rolling greens and scenic fairways.

Twelve miles to the west of Cranbrook is the 5,000-acre William B. Umstead State Park. A local favorite for outdoor enthusiasts, the park has two sections and can be reached via Interstate 40 or U.S. 70. The park has 20 miles of trails, including hikes for the novice or experienced hiker. Three man-made lakes offer fishing and boating, the largest aptly named Big Lake. Other park amenities include camping and picnicking.
