Crabtree Woods is a neighborhood in Raleigh, North Carolina. The neighborhood is located along Arckelton Drive which connects to Edward Mills Road to the northwest of the neighborhood. Roads in the neighborhood include Arckleton Drive, Edward Mills Road, Fargo Court, and Cornwall Place.

Surrounding the area is considerable green land. Trees are also located throughout the neighborhood with many of the homes in the area completely covered by tree canopies. Most of the homes were built between 1970 and 1985 with a median detached-home value of $289,000.

Residents of the Crabtree Woods area are highly educated with most of them having a Bachelor’s Degree or higher. A quarter of the households have married couples living in them and only a small percentage of the households have children. Average age in the area is 25-35 years old.

One of the most obvious destinations is the Crabtree Valley Mall located off of Glenwood Avenue to the northeast of Crabtree Woods. Crabtree Valley Mall is the largest and most popular shopping center in the area providing a wide assortment of goods and services to the thousands of shoppers that visit the mall each day. The mall has well over a hundred different shops, most of which are major national name brands including Macy’s, Aeropostale, The Apple Store, The Lego Store, Victoria’s Secret, Barnes and Noble, Sears, Nine West, Hollister, Dillard’s, JC Penney’s, Radio Shack, and Best Buy just to name a few.

For dining in the area, most would travel towards the Crabtree Valley Mall. The mall is home to numerous quick serve restaurants inside of the mall as well as some major sit-down restaurants including The Cheesecake Factory, McCormick and Schmick’s, and Flemings Prime Steakhouse.
