Camley Hills is one of the smallest communities of Raleigh. With an area of 0.057 square miles, the neighborhood has a population of less than 50 residents. Blue Ridge Road serves as the southern border of the neighborhood. Mid Lakes Drive makes up the eastern border of Camley Hills, and Noremac Drive is the western border of the neighborhood. Most of the homes in Camley Hills are condo or apartment buildings, and there are also single-family, detached houses.
Laurel Hills Park is only a half-mile west of Camley Hills. It has a large playground for children, a recreation center with a foosball table, a baseball field, a soccer field, a lake, and basketball courts.
Camley Hills is a college-friendly community. The North Carolina State University is a bit over two miles south of the neighborhood, and Peace College is four miles to its southeast. Meredith College is only about two miles away from the community.
Camley Hills culture extends beyond the college classroom. There are also many cultural attractions in and near Camley Hills. Moondance Gallery is only a half-mile northeast of Camley Hills. The French Knot, an art gallery, is only a mile to its west. The North Carolina Museum of Art, with its extensive permanent and temporary exhibits, is a little under two miles southwest of Camley Hills. The Museum Spa and Laser Center is approximately the same distance from the neighborhood.
A few of the well-to-do Camley Hills residents are members of the Carolina Country Club and enjoy its lush greenery, sprawling golf courses, and amenity-filled clubhouse.
