Worthdale Park supports Raleigh’s environmental efforts and offers visitors convenient containers for recycling items like cans and plastic bottles.

Raleigh’s green and sustainable effort continues downtown with its new electric vehicle charging stations located in the Edenton Street parking deck. Other charging stations can be found on West Cabarrus Street near the Raleigh Convention Center. The downtown and Convention Center are only six miles from Augusta Crossing.

Downtown Raleigh offers everything from eclectic cuisine to unique shops to historical sites and state museums. The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences on West Jones Street is the southeast’s largest natural history museum. It is free to the public as are the North Carolina Museum of Art and the North Carolina Museum of History, also located in the downtown Capital District.
