Plaza Midwood Neighborhood

Plaza Midwood is fashionable, young, hip, funky, and fun — it’s a great neighborhood in east Charlotte, just east of Charlotte Golf and Country Club. This diverse neighborhood features art galleries, nightclubs and bars, trendy restaurants, antique stores, and more. Midwood Park features an amphitheater where live performances are held, a tennis court, basketball court, soccer field, and playground.

Midwood Mania is a large festival hosted annually by the Plaza Midwood Neighborhood Association. This popular event features a home and garden tour, a 5K race, live music, events for children, a pet parade, and vendors. A large part of Plaza Midwood is on the National Register of Historic Places. The community was established in 1910.
